  • All the learning stations of Pass the Paces are distinctively designed to help the candidate achieve their dream at the first attempt itself.

Pre course E- Learning

  • E-Learning session starts immediately after registration
  • All the registered candidates can access the pre course e-learning materials and start learning.
  • The electronic handout material is a condensed form of text covering all the possible scenarios in the PACES exam.
  • Clinical examination video will demonstrate how to examine properly in each PACES station, as you are expected to practice for the PACES examination.
  • Handouts and videos give emphasis on all stations, including station 2 and 5 with different scenarios which are likely to come for the exam.
  • Since history taking is pivotal in exam, Pass the Paces has specially designed chapters on this sect.
  • UK criterion of medical ethics, law and communication skills are unfamiliar to outside UK students. Pass the Paces provides an exclusive session on this topic and assure candidate’s success.

Online Video Coaching

  • Online Video classes are planned during your leisure time – mainly on Saturday and Sunday night for 2 hours
  • Aim is to prime the candidates to complete the clinical examination in 6 minutes in real PACES exam.
  • Faculties will deliver lecture and subsequently demonstrate normal examination of all clinical stations.

Practical session

  • It is a four day intensive programme
  • The session begins at 8 in the morning and concludes with a feedback session at 6 pm.
  • Pass the Pace assures individual attention by keeping 3-4:1 student faculty ratio
  • For every 3/4 candidate, one MRCP (UK) with FRCP/DM qualified mentor will conduct the station.

Morning Lectures

  • Morning lectures have duration of approximately for 2 hours.
  • It comprises of introductory lectures which includes how to approach PACES exam, assessment of various skills, marking system etc.
  • In morning lectures, all the stations will be discussed in detail with a special emphasis on communication skills, ethics, medico-legal aspects, neurology and station 5.
  • Neurology morning session covers basics of neuro anatomy, UMN and LMN lesions of upper limb and lower limb, lesions of cranial nerves, cerebellar and extra pyramidal system in detail.

Communication skill session

  • Communication session is starting station in 1 and 4 .
  • Assures the candidate gets individual opportunity to present minimum 2 communication scenarios and each group they will be exposed to 10 to 15 scenarios. Mistakes will be corrected individually in each rotation.
  • All the candidates can observe scenarios given to others and can share their views and doubts.

Clinical session

  • Clinical session starts on the second day of the course.
  • All the cases are properly chosen to give exposure to all systems. There will be varieties of exam cases.
  • Each candidate will be allowed to examine the case separately under the supervision of concerned faculty.
  • Faculty will guide each candidates to pick up relevant signs by proper method of examination in the limited time and to reach an appropriate diagnosis.
  • Clinically relevant points about the case are discussed here and candidates’ mistakes are rectified on time.
  • Assures equal opportunity for all.
  • Special emphasis will be given on station 2 and 5 which will give the candidate a unique opportunity to expose to medical emergencies and chronic cases in Rheumatology and Immunology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Dermatology and other Musculo- Skeletal System cases
  • Separate session on fundus examination

Mock exam

  • Unique feature of PASS THE PACES is its mock test, that covers all the five stations with real exam pattern, ie, with typical exam cases and time management.
  • Since every candidate examines all the five stations, the complete mock test will enable the candidate to withstand stress and strain of PACES exam.
  • It is designed in such a way that everyone can observe all the cases given to others
  • Individual feedback will be given after each exam which will make sure all mistakes are corrected.
